Smita is a first-generation immigrant, who has lived in three of the five NYC boroughs and is now happy to call Harlem her home where she resides with her husband, two energetic children and their cat, Spartacus,

After 20 years in consulting at PwC, Smita decided it was time to “walk in the shoes” of her clients, and now enjoys leading Webster’s Digital Services Compliance and Regulatory Relations functions and serving as the Bank’s Privacy Officer.

As an MCS parent who traveled frequently for work, serving as a class rep and as a Farm Festival Co-Chair was integral to her making lasting connections with parents and other members of the school community.
