As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, all outright gifts of cash or stock made to Manhattan Country School are 100 percent tax deductible to the extent provided by law.   • Checks

    Checks should be made payable to Manhattan Country School and mailed to Manhattan Country School, Attn. Advancement Office, 150 W. 85th St., New York, NY 10024.
  • Matching Gifts

    Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please contact your employee benefits department. If your company does offer a matching gift opportunity, please fill out the company form and send it to:

    You can give a gift online with a credit card on our online giving page.
  • Planned Giving

    You can support MCS by either designating the school to receive estate assets in the future or by making immediate gifts of assets to us.

  • Stocks/Appreciated Securities

    The tax benefits of making a gift of appreciated securities held for more than a year is two-fold:
    • Avoid capital-gains taxes
    • Receive a charitable deduction for the transferred stock’s full market value
    For proper credit, please contact Akemi Kochiyama and indicate the name of the stock you are giving, the number of shares, and to what fund you would like to give (e.g. The MCS Fund, The Expanding Purpose Campaign, etc.).

  • What does my gift to the Annual Fund support?

    The Annual Fund supports unrestricted operating expenses (including staff salaries and benefits) and is critical to helping us meet our annual budget. Upon receipt, contributions to the Annual Fund are used immediately to meet support general operating expenses.
