Our team works collaboratively, seamlessly integrating into classrooms and student life. Whether through classroom observations, casual interactions, or direct support, we are here to guide your child’s growth.

  • We know that personalized attention makes all the difference in your child’s education. Our learning support begins with a close partnership between teachers and families. Teachers, who interact with your child daily, are the first to identify any areas where additional support may be needed. Our Support Team works closely with teachers to provide additional learning and social-emotional support when needed.

  • Our holistic approach ensures that we understand and support each student’s unique needs. Assessments are key to this process, from regular classroom evaluations to standardized tests, helping us identify where your child may need more support or greater challenges. If deeper insights are required, we may recommend a comprehensive evaluation by an external provider to provide detailed information about your child’s learning, memory, and emotional well-being. For students with specific needs, a Section 504 Plan may be implemented to ensure full access to their education. After an evaluation, our Support Team works closely with families to create and implement a tailored plan, whether through in-school services or external providers, ensuring your child receives the support they need to succeed.

  • For children receiving support from external providers, collaboration is key. We stay informed and work closely with tutors, therapists, and other specialists to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals. Regular communication between all parties is essential for your child’s success.

  • Navigating DOE services can be complex, but you don’t have to do it alone. While the DOE handles the assignment of services, our Support Team assists in navigating this process to ensure your child gets the services they need efficiently.

  • Beyond academic support, our school counselor offers social and emotional support. Whether through social-emotional lessons in the classroom, individual and group counseling, or crisis management, we are here to support your child’s well-being, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience.

  • At MCS, we see ourselves as partners in your child’s journey. Our Support Team is dedicated to providing the personalized attention and resources your child needs to thrive. We believe in the power of collaboration and are committed to working closely with you to help your child achieve their full potential.
