Manhattan Country School's Thanksgiving Assembly is a community event.
We invite families to join us at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
Two (2) members from each student’s family are welcome. There will be reserved seating for families of student class reps.
This year’s assembly will include songs from Zambia, Israel and the Congo as well as selections from LatinX, Muslim, Jewish, Spiritual and Shaker traditions. Giving thanks continues to be a strong focus of the assembly program. Our student class reps will perform a choral reading, led by Director Michele Sola, that incorporates quotes from all grades about what gratitude means to our community.
After the assembly, be sure to stop by the Thanksgiving Bake Sale, featuring homemade pies, breads and other treats. Proceeds support the seventh- and eighth-graders' ski trips at the Farm.
