The Manhattan Country School Farm Festival is an annual street festival and community fundraising event that takes place on the third Saturday of October. It is organized and staffed by MCS parents and generously supported by neighbors, local businesses and friends of the school. The event ties West 85th Street to the MCS campus in Roxbury, N.Y., bringing a bit of the MCS farm and the Catskills to the city.
We look forward to seeing you at Farm Festival on October 21, 2023.
Each year at Big Night Out!, Manhattan Country School honors individuals who demonstrate leadership in progressive education, arts and sciences, social and environmental justice, community building and activism with the Living the Dream Mentor Award. This year, we are pleased to honor Jelani Cobb for his exemplary work as a scholar, journalist, and activist and Yoruba Richen for her outstanding work as a storyteller and filmmaker.
At Big Night Out!, MCS’ annual spring benefit, we celebrate and honor members within and outside our community who embody our core values. The evening takes place at an off-site venue and includes dinner, dancing, live music, an awards ceremony and an auction. All members of the MCS community (including alumni who are 21 and older) are invited to attend.
