Students, faculty, staff and families gathered at Redeemer Presbyterian Church for the Winter Assembly

On Friday, December 20, Manhattan Country School students, families and staff gathered for our annual Winter Assembly. Together we sang holiday songs from African-American, Jewish and Christian traditions in multiple languages. To celebrate the winter solstice class reps lit candles to honor the longest night of the year. Read more
As our enrollment continues to grow each year, we recognize the need to reconsider our approach to keeping students and other people in the building safe. We have looked at many ways to maintain the familiarity we hold so dear here at MCS while also insuring the security of everyone in our community. After careful consideration of many options, we have decided to ask every adult in our community to wear a simple lanyard to help us quickly and easily identify family members and caregivers when they enter the school.  Read more
On Friday, January 17, MCS will hold its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Assemblies, where the community gathers to sing songs in celebration of civil rights. Read more

The MCS Support Team will host a morning discussion with families on Friday, January 24. We will inform parents about how the Support Team partners with families and teachers to provide support and recommendations for children's learning and development. Please join us to learn more about the processes that are in place at MCS and to share your feedback. The meeting will be in the 5th grade classroom from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be served.  Read more
