MLK Assembly
On Friday, January 13, Manhattan Country School held two assemblies to celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A morning assembly, for children in the 4-5s through 7-8s and their families, opened with grownups singing "This Little Light of Mine" as the children entered the room. The sixth-graders presented an abbreviated version of their play "Black Lives Matter: The Journey to Freedom." Read more
2017 MLK March Flyer
Each year, the eighth grade of Manhattan Country School organizes and leads a march inspired by the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative March, the students were inspired by Dr. King’s quote: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent on things that matter.” In this time of political change, the eighth-graders feel it is more important than ever to speak out about the civil rights issues that impact today’s world. JV Basketball Game
Manhattan Country School made history on Tuesday when it hosted its first basketball game in its own gym. Before a balcony filled with spectators, the JV boys basketball team took on the British International School of New York, winning 61-3. Farm Camp
Registration for Manhattan Country School's 2017 Farm Camp is now open. Farm Camp is MCS’ summer program for current students in the 9-10s through eighth grade at the MCS Farm in Roxbury, New York. This year's program runs from July 10 to July 28. Read more
Gary Rodriguez
Manhattan Country School is happy to welcome Garibaldy (Gary) Rodriguez to the MCS Kitchen staff. He will be helping with food preparation, lunch distribution, dishes and more.  Read more
