2016 6-7s Thanksgiving Lunch and Share
On Tuesday, Manhattan Country School’s students, teachers and staff celebrated their first Thanksgiving Lunch and Share in our new home on West 85th Street. We dined on a delicious Thanksgiving feast prepared by the MCS Kitchen. The menu included roasted turkey, homemade gravy, stuffing, corn, roasted Brussels sprouts, baked sweet potatoes, homemade anadama rolls and cranberry sauce. Read more

Math Trail at American Museum of Natural History
Manhattan Country School’s annual Math Trail happens the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. All of the seventh- and eighth-graders and their teachers (yes, English, history, Spanish and science teachers, too!) head out into the world to engage in mathematical conversations fostered by our fair city. Upon our return to school, we share some of our thinking with each other by way of posters, skits and models. Read more
