Two Manhattan Country School eighth-graders shadow veterinary neurologist/neurosurgeon Erika Gibson '86 on Eighth Grade Mentoring Day.

Big Night Out!, Manhattan Country School’s annual spring benefit to support sliding-scale tuition is Saturday, April 29. This year’s event celebrates our 50th anniversary and features the Living the Dream Mentor Award ceremony, dinner, dancing and an online auction. Revenue from Big Night Out! helps MCS raise the more than $1.5 million needed to sustain our sliding-scale tuition program each year. Read more
Eighth Grade Mentoring Day
On Friday, March 17, Manhattan Country School eighth-graders visited professionals from a wide range of careers for our annual Eighth Grade Mentoring Day. Each year, these trips allow students from the graduating class to learn about careers of interest by visiting people in the MCS community working in those fields. The mentors spend several hours showing their guests around, explaining what a typical day entails, describing how they got where they are professionally, answering questions and more.  Read more
Cody Colon-Berezin
This month's MCS Alumni Spotlight highlights the impactful studies and contributions of Cody Colon-Berezin, a graduate from the class of 2001. He has spent years focusing on biomedicine, epidemiology, public health and more. His work has taken him around the world and recently brought him back to NYC. Read more

Manhattan Country School is happy to announce that the Courtyard—the architectural centerpiece of our new building—has been completed and is officially open. The 533-square-foot, four-story space provides light and air to the surrounding classrooms and will serve as an outdoor learning and meeting space for our community. Read more
2017 Community Basketball Game
Just ahead of the mid-winter break, Manhattan Country School students, parents, faculty, staff and alumni gathered at the 92nd Street Y for this year's Community Basketball Game. In front of bleachers filled with cheering fans, a team in red and a team in blue competed for the title of winner of this annual community-building event. Read more
