Daniel Altschuler '96

Daniel Altschuler ‘96 is a political scientist, organizer, and writer. He is currently the Director of Civic Engagement and Research at Make the Road New York (MRNY), the largest progressive grassroots immigrant-led organization in New York State. The organization works on issues of workers' rights; immigrant and civil rights; environmental and housing justice; justice for transgender, gender nonconforming, intersex, and queer (TGNCIQ) people; and educational justice.

Daniel received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and holds a doctorate in Politics and a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
