Roxanne Leff earned her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Tufts University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Columbia University. Roxanne joined the MCS Board of Trustees in 2017 and is now entering her second term. During her first term, Roxanne chaired the Director Search for MCS' third director. Prior to joining the board, Roxanne was the class rep for her daughter's 5-6s class and served three terms on the PA Co-President Nominating Committee. Roxanne is beginning her twentieth year as an educator and currently works as the Head of the Middle School at the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School. Prior to her current tenure in Brooklyn, Roxanne worked at The Town School, Riverdale Country School, Ethical Culture Fieldston School and the Shady Hill School. Her passion for equity and justice in schools fuels her work and closely aligns her to the MIssion of MCS. Additionally, Roxanne is a member of the NYSAIS Diversity Committee, where she served as Co-Chair from 2017-2019. Roxanne and Ben are the proud parents of students in the class of 2022 2026 who both started at MCS in the 4-5s.
