Manhattan Country School’s Farm Outing Day, a community picnic for MCS families (including new families joining the school in the fall), alumni and friends at our 180-acre farm in the Catskill Mountains, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Enjoy hay rides, hay jumping, music and tours of the MCS Farm at New Kingston Mountain. From 2-3:30 pm, you will have an opportunity to take a self-guided tour of the MCS Farm at Lower Meeker Hollow (the new farm property acquired in 2017) and learn about the expanding farm program.

Food and drinks may be purchased at a reasonable cost. Food options include pizza from our wood-fired oven, pig roast, hot dogs, burgers, salads, desserts and more. You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch. You'll also want to bring a change of clothes and water shoes for children who plan to play in the stream. Frisbees, kites, balls, instruments and other items for outdoor entertainment welcome.
