Manhattan Country School offers two summer programs, City Summer Session and Farm Summer Session, for current and incoming MCS students.
City Summer Session
For information about the City Summer Session, please reach out to Caroline Biggers, Director of Auxiliary Programs. She can be reached via email at cbiggers@manhattancountryschool.org or by phone at (212) 348-0952 (ext.214).
City Summer Session is a great way for new children to acclimate MCS and for all children to strengthen their ties to peers! Please email Caroline Biggers (cbiggers@manhattancountryschool.org) for more details about this summer's program.
Families may enroll their children for one, two, three or four weeks at a cost of $550 per child per week. There is a 10 percent discount if enrolling for three or more weeks and an Early Bird discount of 100 dollars off the total fee for families who sign up during the first week of enrollment.
The enrollment window for the City Summer Session has closed. Please email Caroline Biggers (cbiggers@manhattancountryschool.org) to inquire about availability.
Farm Summer Session
The Farm-Based Summer Enrichment Session is MCS’ summer program for current students in the 9-10s through eighth grade at the Manhattan Country School Farm in Roxbury, New York. Apply for the Summer Enrichment Session Today!
Farm Summer Session will operate in two sessions this year; Session One is one week and Session Two is two weeks. In order to follow health and safety guidelines, we will need to limit the total number of campers to fourteen in each session.
You are welcome to enroll your child(ren) in one or both sessions.
Tuition for Session One is $1,200 and will be held June 27 - July 2, 2022
Tuition for Session Two is $2,400 and will be held July 11-22, 2022
MCS students will participate in a host of activities at the MCS Farm. They tend the gardens; care for the animals (chickens, cows, pigs and sheep); explore fields, mountains and streams; bake pizza in our outdoor wood-fired oven; prepare ice cream with the Farm’s own naturally raised eggs, milk and yogurt; and prepare meals with our own beef, pork and chicken and organic vegetables.
The Farm-Based Summer Enrichment Session is operated by the MCS Farm staff, the Farm Camp teacher, our Farm-based education intern and an MCS Farm alumni intern.
A sliding scale discount based on your current tuition rate is possible. There is also a $100 discount for siblings attending Farm Camp. Click here for full tuition rates.
