Calling High School Students for NYCLU's Teen Activist Project

Friday, September 7, 2018

As the 2018-19 school year begins, the New York Civil Liberties Union is seeking high school students to join the Teen Activist Project (TAP), a paid youth program focused on social justice, activism, and the law. Visit to learn more and apply.  Applications are due online by September 28.

The program is ideal for youth interested in health care, law, social justice, and community organizing. TAP members meet weekly to discuss social justice issues and get hands-on training in peer education and community organizing. The program offers students the opportunity to learn about civil rights issues impacting their communities, develop youth led advocacy campaigns, work with professionals on civil liberties issues, and much more.
