On Tuesday, June 7, Manhattan Country School held a reception to honor the classes in which 100 percent of families have contributed to the 2015-2016 MCS Annual Fund. The class that organized Farm Festival were also recognized. Parents from the 5-6s, 6-7s, 8-9s, seventh grade and eight grade gathered in the Music Room to celebrate, enjoy food provided by the sixth grade families and hear remarks from MCS Director Michèle Solá and incoming Board Chair Michael Patterson.
The MCS Annual Fund is our largest and most important annual fundraising effort. Annual Fund revenue is applied directly to annual operating expenses not covered by tuition and fees. These expenses include faculty and staff benefits, professional and curriculum development, educational supplies for classrooms, technology upgrades and maintenance of our facilities at MCS and the MCS Farm.
There’s still time to make a contribution to this year’s Annual Fund. Gifts for the current fiscal year are due by June 30, 2016. Visit www.supportmcs.org to learn more.
Every gift counts and is deeply appreciated.
