Gov. Andrew Cuomo dined on food from the Manhattan Country School Farm last Friday at a private event promoting tourism in the Catskills. Cuomo arrived at the Catskills Interpretive Center on a motorcycle and delivered a speech announcing a $5 million I LOVE NY marketing plan to support special tourism events in the area.
The lunch served at the event was catered by MCS Farm’s own MaryAnn Todd and included lettuce and pork from the Farm. The meal received rave reviews and MCS gained acknowledgement as a progressive sustainable leader in food development in the Catskills.
