The Lion King, Jr.

This week, Manhattan Country School's eighth-graders delivered three performances of "The Lion King, Jr." The production was directed by Nehemiah Luckett and featured the school's oldest students in the following roles:

Rafiki: Osiris/Jonah

Mufasa: Myles

Sarabi: Aiyana

Zazu: Malia/Jan

Scar: Jack

Young Simba: Isabel

Simba: Malik

Young Nala: Jenna

Nala: Anais

Sarafina: Brandon

Banzai: Layla

Shenzi: Jessica

Ed: Monte

Timon: Tai

Pumba: Adam

Ensemble: Sophie, Brandon, Isabel, Sherman, Aaron, Pearl, Jenna, Malia, Carolina, Jack and Jan

 

MCS seventh-graders had behind-the-scenes roles:

Lights & Sound: Jonas and Morgan

Set Design: Stella, Ricky, Nina, Sydney, Violet, Nico and Christina

Props and Program Design: Emma, Cruz, Kyle, Eva, Jory, Lily, Joe, Asad, Ruby, Roxanne, Ariana and Aaron
