Summer Professional Development: Nancy Hsu in Africa

This summer, Nancy Hsu, MCS Parent Fundraising and Special Events Coordinator, spent ten days in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa volunteering at an HIV/AIDS orphanage called Lily of the Valley. During the trip, she and 13 teammates helped out in classrooms, led toy-making and cooking workshops, and painted murals. This was her third visit to Lily of the Valley and she hopes to volunteer there again next year.

This is part of a series of articles on the professional development of MCS faculty and staff.
