Faculty & Staff

MCS faculty and staff work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect, warmth and commitment to the vision and mission of the school. 

Our staff consists of more than 50 educators and administrators with both personal and professional dedication to the school. Located in Manhattan or at the 180-acre MCS Farm campus in the Catskills, they come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and are a racially and culturally diverse group that parallels the diversity of our student body.

MCS makes a concerted effort to maintain a balance of mentor teachers, with years of experience, and younger teachers just starting their careers. Our teachers’ daily work is turning ideals into reality within an experiential, student-centered progressive model.
