The Fifth Floor activism project began with education and fundraising at home and culminated with a trip to West Virginia for a week of programming. In West Virginia, we participated in community service projects, cultural connections, outdoor activities and “mountain appreciation” and a full day lobbying/”Teach In” with activists. |

Spring is an exciting time at MCS as students and teachers display culminating projects throughout the building and enjoy the warmer weather on field trips around the city. |

Donve’ Deacon is an education student at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She completed a teaching practicum at Manhattan Country School in January. She spent much of her time in the 4-5s class, but visited all classrooms and attended school-wide events. |
